Moku o Hawaiʻi was originally a block print design inspired by a Kaʻū Makahiki festival in the 80s. The Makahiki season is the ancient Hawaiian New Year festival, in honor of the god Lono of the Hawaiian religion. It is a holiday covering four consecutive lunar months, approximately from October or November through February or March.
All Belsky's shirts are hand silk-screened using custom earth-friendly inks. All of his colorful designs, are hand painted by the artist himself. Allow for variation, the shirts are hand done, no two can be exactly alike. Two-side printed on natural colored 100% cotton Hanes Tagless Ts, these wearable works of art are preshrunk and available in adult sizes: S, M, L, XL and 2X.
